2008 Football Schedule Announced

STORRS, Conn. (February 25, 2008) - The University of Connecticut football team’s 2008 schedule will see the Huskies play six games at Rentschler Field, two of which have already been selected for national broadcasts on either ESPN or ESPN2.

Rentschler Field audiences will see the Huskies face Hofstra (Aug. 28), Virginia (Sept. 13), Baylor (Sept. 19), Cincinnati (Oct. 25), West Virginia (Nov. 1) and Pittsburgh (Dec. 6). In addition, UConn will play four BIG EAST road games at Louisville (Sept. 27), Rutgers (Oct. 18), Syracuse (Nov. 15) and USF (Nov. 22), along with facing Temple (Sept. 6) and North Carolina (Oct. 4) out of conference.
