Jessica (Stone) Beauchemin ’98 (CLAS) is the recipient of the UConn Alumni Association’s Graduate of the Last Decade (G.O.L.D.) Award for her impressive history of public service and her work with the National Capitol Chapter of the UCAA. In almost all of her years since graduating Beauchemin has been part of UConn Alumni Association chapters, first as a member of the Boston Chapter steering committee and, after a move to Washington, D.C., as an active member with leadership roles in the National Capital Chapter. She is now finishing up a three-year term as president of the National Capital Chapter; in that time the chapter has expanded its range of planned events to include community service projects and family-friendly activities, in addition to well-attended game watches. In her professional career, Jessica works in communications. She is currently account supervisor at Ketchum, an international communications agency, in the D.C. office.
