In addition to providing ideas for new curriculum to challenge the entrepreneurs of tomorrow he has provided a stream of seed money for a select number of School of Business students' ventures /products whose development was encouraged through programs that function as entrepreneurial incubators for students. Kevin has also focused his attention on hiring interns from UConn and offering many of them permanent positions at a new marketing venture owned by Nerac, enabling them to stay in Connecticut.

Kevin has also been an ardent supporter of UConn Athletics not only financially but also by donating Nerac's expertise to help UConn Athletics move to the next generation in appearance and communication technology on the internet. Due to the changes Nerac implemented, the Athletics website utilizes cutting edge technology in communicating with alumni and Husky fans worldwide.
