Ultimate Sacrifice Roll of Honor
dedicated during Alumni Weekend

Roll

On Saturday, June 6, the Ultimate Sacrifice Roll of Honor was dedicated at the Alumni Center. Pictured above, from left, is Lt. Col. Tony Esposito '08; 2nd Lt. Dymitri Dutkanicz '09; Randy Morehouse; Philip Morehouse '40, '48; and Cadet Kevin Moll '10.

The Roll of Honor includes the names of UConn alumni who have fallen while serving in the armed forces of our nation. The list of 131 names spans back to the Spanish-American War in 1898.

A Web site featuring the 131 alumni is being developed by the Memorial Committee. Alumni and friends may support the effort by making a gift to the Memorial Fund. Click here for details.

This dedication, along with the Ft. Trumbull Room at the Alumni Center and the George Findell '56 Room at the Student Union, was one of many activities during Alumni Weekend, where nearly 500 alumni, their families and friends returned to the Storrs campus over the June 5-6 weekend. Click here to view our photo gallery from the two-day event.

Save the date for next year's Alumni Weekend on June 4 and 5, 2010!
