The Faculty Excellence in Research Award is based upon the total thrust of a professor's research. The purpose of the award is to encourage excellence in scholarly research that again assists the University in continuing efforts to attain the highest academic recognition.  This Award is presented in two categories: Humanities/Social Sciences and Sciences.
