Welcome to the
University of Connecticut Alumni Association, where members have
organized in their support of the University of Connecticut since
1888. As an association member, you may participate in various activities
and are entitled to the quality services described herein. You and
your interests are important; here your voices are heard. We look
forward to a long and lasting relationship with you.
Founded in 1888,
the University of Connecticut Alumni Association is only a few years
younger than the University. Today the Association numbers 150,000
alumni. The aims and objectives of the Alumni Association are much
the same as originally outlined. The Alumni Association is dedicated
to promoting the welfare, interest and excellence of the University
of Connecticut by fostering a mutually helpful relationship among
the alumni, the faculty and the student body of the University and
by creating and maintaining a better understanding between the citizens
of the State of Connecticut and the University of Connecticut.
Alumni Association
Chapters can be found
across the country. They are an excellent place to meet other University
of Connecticut alumni, network to establish contacts for future
employment opportunities, and just feel at home, especially if you've
moved to an unfamiliar locale. Chapter members help promote and
support the University of Connecticut. A wide variety of social
events keep our alumni involved and active. The Association can
put you in contact with the leaders of the Alumni chapter or club
in your area - just call the Alumni Association at (860) 486-2240
or (888) 822-5861. |
